Summer Vacation - Universal Studios in Orlando

About to board our plane to Orlando!

A sweet lady saw us and asked if we wanted a family pic. Jovi wouldn't cooperate and I so wish she would have because little did I know that it would be the ONLY family pic of all of us the whole trip.

The plane ride was quick and painless. It was an Allegiant flight so one 2 hour ride and we were there. The baby did great and we were never "that family" with a screaming baby. Thank goodness! I sat in the middle of my two big babies and Jamers sat on my lap and hung out with Dad who was right behind us. We had upgraded our seats so we were pretty cozy and ended up having 2 extra seats behind us so I went back there with Justin and fed the baby in complete privacy. Very good experience overall.

This is Jake and Jinny's condo in Orlando..about 20 minutes from all the parks. They let us stay there rent free! All we had to do was pay the cleaning fee. It has a hot tub and a really sweet club house with 2 pools and jacuzzis, . There is a kid center where we spent a lot of time.

We swam all we could. It seemed like each time we got there we only had a little while before the storm came in. It rained about every day but only for short periods. Jovi loved the water! All the kids are little fishes. They were swimming under water from one side to the other!

Sweet Nilly at the kid center did this for her. We all got to enjoy it for about 5 minutes before she jumped in the pool. :)

Thursday, June 6  - First day at Universal Studios! Even with all these people they said that we were there at a good time. In 2 weeks they said it would be insane so our timing was perfect.

He insisted on wearing his tie and glasses. He was so cute!!! He got a lot of compliments, and he wasn't the only one dressed up. We saw a lot of little Potters and most were wearing the cloaks!!! I couldn't believe it. It was like 100 degrees. Jonah was smart to only choose the essentials. He had his wand too.

Entering Diagon Alley...
and the cutest little Harry Potter I've ever seen was right where he wanted to be. The dragon up on top of Griggotts Bank spews fire every few minutes. It's pretty loud and awesome to see. You can feel the heat from it. One of the best rides we rode is into Griggotts Bank. We all loved it! The kids rode it twice, once with me and once with Justin. We had the express passes and it was so worth it. The longest we ever waited was about 15 minutes when others were waiting 70 minutes plus. Most rides we waited about 5 minutes.

Sissy pie drinking her frozen butter beer. It's a specialty drink they serve in Diagon Alley and it's like cream soda, rootbeer and ice cream or something. Super sweet and they loved it. I could only handle one drink but it was really good.

Jamers hung out in her stroller a lot or was in the carrier. It was so hot so we took her under the misters often to cool her down. She was so good though. I mean it was ridiculously hot and she was totally out of her element but she handled it like a boss. So proud of our baby girl.

Waiting in line for the Transformers ride. It was AWESOME!!

Day 2 - Friday, June 7

Standing at the train station at 9 3/4!

We're hot but we're having fun :)

The kids talked about this a lot. Honeydukes! Full of obscure candy

Justin and his baby :)

Jonah was enjoying his sucker called an Acid Pop that we got at Honeydukes and below is The Forbidden Journey ride... it was AWESOME!!!

The Forbidden Journey ride. So cool!!!! I loved it

The activity center and pool area was one of our favorite parts. Each day was different and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves.

WE LOVED IT HERE! Next time we go back were going to stay in one of the hotels on the beach for a couple days and then the condo for a few days. There's so much to do right here on the beach. We ate at Krabby's...sooooooo good. I had coconut shrimp.

My fave pic :)

It was such a wonderful trip with my little family. The baby did great on the plane, both times. It was a direct flight which made it super easy. The heat was blazing but we made it through. Lots of laughs and sweet memories made. We can't wait to go back.. Thanks to our sweet Jacob for lending us his condo for a week. What an amazing way to start our summer ♥
