Makeshift Swing

Jonah loves to swing. He would swing for hours if we let him. Sadly, we do not have a swing at home. We have no swing set in our backyard. It is empty. This makes Jonah sad.

 We do, however, have a Johnny Jump Up. If we lift it high enough, he can't touch the floor and its almost like he's swinging. This makes Jonah happy.

Now before you go feeling too sorry for him you should know that the backyard will not be empty for long. We plan on putting something back there. We had originally planned on debuting the big surprise on his birthday, but it's in November and it's chilly then so we may get it a little sooner so that he can enjoy it before it gets too cold. Here are some pictures of the big surprise. We don't know which one we're getting yet. If I had my way, he would get the coolest, biggest swing set there was but our backyard isn't that big and neither is our budget. So....since little man is content with his make shift swing, I think any one of these will blow his mind.

We like this one because it's covered but it doesn't have as many activities 

This one is cool. We like it. That sphere swing is unique to this model.

We plan on getting one of these too to replace one of the big boy swings. Jonah tried Maxwell's out the other night. It may not look like he's happy but he's smiling on the inside.
