3 Months!

Dear Journey Kay,

• You weighed 11 lbs 13 oz at your 2 month checkup on 11-8. And you are 24 inches tall!
• You wear size 1 diapers 
• You wear size 3-6 months clothes and size 0-1 shoes
• You have 0 teeth
• We call you sissy or sissy pie because you are so sweet. We eat you up for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• You smile all the time! You are such a happy baby girl!
• You can roll over from your back to front when having tummy time. and you can already roll from your back to side. You've been doing this since early November.
• The whites of your eyes are actually white now! No more yellow! The jaundice has finally left the building! Woohoo!!
• You are sooo strong and love to stand up tall on my legs. We play an upsie daisy/downsie daisy game which you love. You stand up tall and then sit down and rest and laugh about it
• You love to be held and cuddled
• You love to kiss and will even lunge forward to my face for more
• You try to sit up if you are laying down..will you please stop trying to grow up so fast?
• You have beautiful, big brown eyes which always prompts me to sing "brown eyed girl" the moment I see you
• You sleep really well, always have but you still sleep right next to me all night. You even nap in our bed. You've never slept in a crib and rarely a bassinet. I think you'll pass right over the whole crib thing and go straight to a king size bed :)
• You love to watch brother play..your eyes rarely leave him when he is around you. He likes to bring you Sophie the giraffe when you get cranky and will kiss you if he's in the mood. He really loves to sit next to you on the couch and watch movies in the office. I turn around and you guys are both engaged in the show that's on, covered with your blankets and Jonah is laying his head next to yours. We have a lot of pictures of you two like this.
• You barely ever spit up, more than Jonah did but that's just because he never did. But when you do, I just see it as an opportunity to change into something cuter! There is no shortage of baby girl clothes around here so we change outfits a lot! 
• You love to shop! This could be a big problem as you get older. You and I went shopping to the mall the other night for over 2 hours and you loved every minute. You did have a poop so we went into the family bathroom and got changed and then I nursed you in the bathroom stall :) Then we went back to shopping! Oh Journey, this could get bad...
• You still have absolutely no interest in a bottle..or pacifier. I will pump and offer you a bottle and you will not take it. You scream like we are torturing you and just push the nipple around in your mouth. Once you see a tibby though..it's all smiles from ear to ear. You love your tibbies. 
• You're great in the car and barely ever fuss. You started to once and then quickly realized that there was nothing we could do at the moment and decided to sleep instead. 
• You are so smart. I see it in your eyes. You catch on fast. I bet you are witty like your dad.
• It's bad but you aren't on any kind of schedule. You eat when you want, sleep when you're tired and play when you feel like it. We really need to get on a schedule though..especially at bedtime. You need to go to bed before 10pm Journey! Me and Dad need some free time at night so if you could please learn to pack it in by 8-9pm, that'd be great!

You are so precious Journey. Words cannot describe. You have the softest cheeks I have ever felt and don't mind a bit when I rub mine against yours. You are truly an angel and we love you so much! Happy 3 months baby girl!
