So..these pictures depict a different story then what really went on. Jonah basically cried and screamed any time anyone approached him at his birthday party. He was happiest in my arms with Elliot and blankie. It was all just too much for my 2 year old.

He did eventually come around towards the end of the party and actually ate some pizza and opened a few presents so it wasn't all bad. He just doesn't do well in big social situations. So unless Jonah wants a big birthday, this will be his last one. Kinda makes me sad, I love throwing big parties for my babies but if it's not something he enjoys then I won't put him through it again.

All in all, the morning of his birthday was wonderful and 24 family and friends traveled a long way to come and celebrate with us. We are blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives and so thankful for all the beautiful gifts everyone gave our birthday boy. Our house is now a jungle-farm..there are animals everywhere!
