Jonah's First Day at Kindle Preschool

Out the door!

Found the animal bin as soon as we got there

Making friends with Lucy :)

"Bye Mommy!"

He had a great first day at his new school. No tears. It's a Mother's Day Out program and he goes 2 days a week from 8:30-2pm. Miss Sarah said he didn't nap but she laid with him and rubbed his back for 35 minutes. He got a little upset but mostly just laid there and let her baby him. I'm hoping he gets comfortable soon and is able to rest better. Other than that, he peed in the potty all day with no accidents and was a joy and delightful as his teachers stated when I picked him up. He was so happy to see me. I saw him before he saw me and he was just standing there holding blue blue and swaying a little. As soon as he saw me he opened his arms and said "oh hi-ya mommy" Oh I love this boy and this boy loves school!

Kindle Preschool's Mission:

Kindle is a ministry of Grace Point Church.  The term, kindle, means to start a fire, to stir up, to arouse, to bring into being, or to cause.  It is our mission to partner with families to instill a Biblical worldview and preschool education by kindling each child’s love for God, love for others, and love for learning.

 “His Word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones.
I am weary of holding it in;
 indeed, I cannot.”   –Jeremiah 20:9

He looks like such a big boy in the first picture! Why do our littles have to grow so fast?!
