Jonah Gets a Medal

Jonah loves Coach Chase. He is always right next to him, first in line..wherever Chase is that is where Jonah wants to be.

The whole class during warm up

Showing off some skills..

We are so proud of our little gymnast! He has learned so much over these last 9 months in gymnastics. He has learned how to do somersaults, handstands, little cartwheels, swing on bars and hold his own weight, falling straight backwards without catching himself (this was a big one for him..he always tried to catch himself but is now free falling like a champ). He has learned how to stand in line and wait his turn, how to listen to instructions and how to be apart of a team. This class has brought him out of his shell a lot and made him excited to learn new things which is tough on Jonah. He tends to like to stick to what he knows. We are so thankful to my parents for making this all happen and for taking him week after week.

He would wave to us before and after he would do his tricks

Jonah was a bit scared of this. He walked up there so slowly and then just wobbled as he stood there. It was a flat surface, he had watched 3 of his team mates walk up there without issues, had two people holding his hands and still he thought he was going to fall off. That is my cautious little guy right there. He got his medal though :)

Our attempt at a good family picture. It never works out for us. One kid is always looking the wrong direction, someone has their eyes closed or struggling to get away...

Sweet Mema came to the awards ceremony to cheer on Jonah. We love her so much!! Jonah was so happy she came.

After the awards, we took the kids to the Promenade mall to go to Build A Bear and pick out new summer outfits for Bobbie and Happy. I got zero pictures of that. It was crazy in there. Then we went to the little park area before lunch.

Bobbie in his new summer wardrobe.

We went to Mimi's Cafe for lunch. Look at Bobby..sitting there all smug.. with his shades on and a princess crown...

We colored and ate a wonderful lunch. It was such a fun day with the kids and their Mema.
