Journey wore this as a dress last year. And now..it's a shirt. Maybe next year it will be a hat.
Our fourth didn't go quite as planned but we made the best of it and played all day at the lake. The kids loved the water. It was hot and the water was the perfect temperature. Jonah was a little fish all day and never left the water. Journey preferred to be on foot throwing rocks and would come in when she felt like it. I didn't get any pictures of the lake time though. I've been slacking. Ugh.
The kids skipped naps so we didn't make it to see the fireworks. We actually never really saw a proper fireworks display but did see some going off as we were driving. So lame. Next year will be better and hopefully the kids will stay awake long enough to see them. We did set some off at our house but that didn't go over well either. They were scared of them. Not the best way to celebrate our nations birthday but we sure looked darn cute in our outfits. Happy Birthday America! You don't look a day over 238.
