A Sandbox

Justin built the kids a beautiful sand box. He got the lumber, stained it and put it all together. He chose the best spot in the yard, dug up the sod and laid the box in place. Then he filled it with sand and children. He loves his babies and loves watching them play. Complete with a bench that doubles as a cabinet to put away their tools, it's really just the best little sand box I've ever seen.

Journey Kay had a blast digging up the sod and found all sorts of worms. She would transport them from the yard to the garden because her Daddy told her worms are good for our strawberries. Sweet girl could be outside all day and never get bored.

They played for a long time this day and at the end we discovered just why we waited so long to build this. Sand sucks. Sand gets EVERYWHERE. We pretty much had to strip them and hose them down before they went inside. It's a messy job but worth it for sure.

Thanks to my sweetheart for building this for our babies to enjoy.
