SDC

Justin was out of town working so my parents and I loaded up the kids and took them to Silver Dollar City one more time before school let out and it got busy.

On our way :)

We got soaked on Lost River. Sissy got it the worst of all. Poor baby, a big wave just washed over her from head to toe. 

We changed clothes and went to play with the big cow :)

They were both asleep within a few minutes of leaving the park..

We rode Fire in the Hole and after the ride was over I look over at JK and she goes "THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" My little thrill seeker for sure. Jonah on the other hand likes to play it safe and checks height and age requirements prior to each ride. He doesn't like roller coasters very much but can't keep sister off of them. My two babies, so different in ways but alike in a lot too.
We were proud of Jonah for riding 5 new rides so we got ice cream and taffy before leaving. Dad and Jonah got sundaes and Journey Kay chose mint chocolate chip. Mom and I opted for root beer floats which was awesome after a long hot day.

It ended up being the best day. With a 60% chance of rain and kids still in school, the masses stayed away and we had the park to ourselves, practically. It never rained and we walked on rides, rarely stood in line and didn't have to fight our way through the crowds. So glad the rain didn't keep us away. We love SDC and can't wait to do it all again!
