Christmas at Disney World

They look so big!

Becoming park rangers. They had to go through a series of tests to see if they were capable. They passed!

Watching a hippo swim by!
My beautiful mama!
The Okapi who blew everyone's minds...
Doing some sort of park ranger dance...

Clearly, stoked about something...

The amazing Lion King show! This was so cool!!!! The kids loved it. It was only 30 minutes but their eyes were glued to the stage the entire time.

She's singing Circle of Life...it was perfect. Her voice was amazing.
Jonah didn't want anything to do with this picture. He doesn't really like these types of things. Never has. He doesn't trust any adult in costume. I don't blame him..I think he's on to something there..
My sweet love. This is after a long, sweaty day at Animal Kingdom and he still cuddled up with me to take a selfie. Love him so.

Sweet babies the night before Christmas...

Merry Christmas!

These are funny.. So she snuck off after she opened her stocking..We couldn't find her until we checked the bathroom. There she was eating all of her hersey kisses and hiding the evidence! What a turd!!

Sissy loves making friends. She makes friends everywhere we go. She had a few little girls who would look for her when we went down to swim. We would get them cups and spoons and they would play all afternoon.

Disney World!!

We got the essentials when entering a theme park. Cotton candy and water!

As we walked in they started a show on the castle! It was so cute. All the characters came out and danced. The kids were pointing and naming everyone. Such a cool way to start our day at Disney World.

First ride was Dumbo

Then Winnie the Pooh's Many Adventures..

It's a Small World

Frozen lemonades! The kids just loved the treats around every corner.

Uncle Jake thought Jonah needed ears too :)

Sister passed out hard and fast. One moment she was with us and the next she wasn't. She slept for about an hour then got up in time to ride Splash Mountain with me and mom. She made the height requirements by about 1/4 inch. This girl is down for anything that involves a thrill. Mom and I are planning a girl trip around the country with Journey Kay when she's a little older. We're going to take about 2 weeks and travel around the country hitting all the best theme parks and roller coasters. Epic!

From Splash Mountain. I just love this picture..Look at all our faces :) Sweet baby in the middle and I have my arm wrapped around her tight and one in the air!

What a trip! I know that's a lot of pictures and really it only covers a couple days. We went to Animal Kingdom which I have to say hands down was my favorite part of the whole trip. Jonah was so in his element. Everywhere he looked he was just in awe. He saw Okapi's which he told me "totally knocked me out of my brain!" We became park rangers the moment we got there. The kids got these little books that they had to keep and collect badges as we went through the park. We would find the rangers, listen to some animal facts and then have to answer questions. Jonah pretty much answered every question. Even when he was standing there with a group of kids that were much older than him. He would raise his little hand and answer the questions and sometimes even offer additional information. Oh that boy. He is my heart. I just love seeing him happy. He said he wanted to live there. I have no doubt that my boy may very well "live" in a zoo one day. He wants to be a zookeeper/scientist and live there because he says the animals may need him at night and he needs to be close.
Journey Kay loved it there too. She honestly loves anything big brother does. She enjoyed holding the maps, being held and finding fun treats to eat. She would get so tired at the end of the day that she would just pass out. She does that. She will reach a point when it's all too much and out she goes. We tried to keep her comfortable but those rental strollers didn't offer much comfort. Good thing Mema brought her jacket.

I wish we had gone there twice instead! Disney World was awesome really. It was just very busy. When we got back I looked at the busiest dates to go to DW and we were there on the 2nd busiest day of the year. Next time, we will plan a little differently. What really matters most though is that we were all together, laughing, singing and swimming on Christmas morning. Being together is what meant the most to me. I just love my family and feel blessed to be able to spend the holidays with them at one of the happiest places on Earth.
Merry, merry Christmas!
