July Fourth

We dressed these cuties up and went outside to play and set off the fireworks we got. We never go big on fireworks. We find that we can have a blast with a bag full of poppers and royal candles and let our neighbors buy all the big cool stuff and just sit back and watch. We have a couple neighbors that really get into it and go BIG so it's perfect for us. We don't even have to leave the comforts of our driveway.

I love that they still let me dress them up in matching outfits. I will do this as long as they let me. They are my beautiful freedom babies.
This independence day meant even more to me. We're all in this weird time right now where some of our basic freedoms feel taken away. It's all for the safety of our fellow man so we do it but can't help but feel controlled a bit. At least we're all in this together. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not just us..it's everyone. EVERY HUMAN person living on this planet is dealing with this crap right now. If anything we should feel more united than ever but the man in charge keeps us divided.

We spent the earlier part of the day on the water with mom. It was our first boat outing since my Dad passed actually. It was strange but I think we all tried our best to have fun. He would've wanted us to but it's just not the same. And it never will be.

Nothing says "Let freedom Ring" like bursting, colorful balls of fire blazing through the sky. We saw some goodies but the camera never captures them the way our eyes do.
Happy Birthday America! You don't look a day over 244 years old.
