She was a little nervous at first but also so excited to be there! She wore her fancy shoes even.
She got comfortable pretty quickly...
And was all business when they turned Daniel Tiger on for her...
We had been talking about going to the dentist for a few weeks leading up to her appointment and we watched some fun shows about going and then she even went with me to Jonah's appointment and got to sit in the chair and everything so she was well prepared. She knew they were going to clean and count her teeth and that she may even get a new toothbrush afterwards!
This baby completely surprised me. I was prepared for the worst.. just walking out holding a screaming toddler who wouldn't listen or sit still and was well prepared to feel like a complete failure as a parent for her behavior.
Instead, I left feeling like a boss. Like I had conquered the toughest feat set before me.
My very strong willed 2 year old sat still, listened and let sweet nurse Amy count and clean her teeth. She smiled and laughed and Amy kept telling me how wonderful she was doing and for her age it was beyond expectations.
She may run naked at home and scream when displeased and basically run our household with a hard kick and a sweet kiss but this baby girl loves dental work and I couldn't be more proud of my little pooball.
