First Dates

We went over to our friend's house for a BBQ and unknowingly set these two up on a little backyard date.

 They started their evening by playing nicely side by side at the water table bonding over their love of H2O

Then Jonah sat Jack down to talk over a couple sippys of milk. Being the older brother, he knew these things are necessary before anyone can date his little sister.

Once Jackson felt like he made a good impression, he took off to find Journey Kay and tell her the good news. 

He found her. She had been giving herself a bath at the water table so had to spend the rest of the evening in a diaper while her clothes dried.

Jack forgave her for her lack of attire though and asked him mom to serve them dinner on the back porch.

They talked about french fries and ketchup and JK didn't even mind when Jack stole some fries from her plate. She retaliated by taking his hot dogs.

First dates are always rough but these two made it look easy. I wouldn't mind letting this little guy take her out again.
