We went to open house a few days before and met his teacher and dropped off all his school supplies.
He chose to wear the same shirt he wore on his first day of Kindergarten. He said he wanted to make it a tradition. :) I said it was fine and he could wear it as long as he could...
KINDERGARTEN:
The whole family (minus D) walked our big boy to school..
And greeted his sweet teacher, Mrs. Gunter. He was so glad she had red hair just like Ms Elington did. He really is a creature of habit and likes when things stay the same. He loves all her books on Science.
We were one of the last to arrive (story of our lives) so he kinda got the only seat available. Which was a table full of cutie pie girls. He didn't mind at all. Jonah is very adaptable and his teachers have always called him a "neutral" meaning you can put him with any child and he would be fine. He is not easily influenced and I love his strong will. He knows what is right and chooses to do it. Others follow his lead.
It seems like we were just dropping him off for his first day of Kindergarten. The year flew by and the summer went even quicker. My Jonah was the first one to make me a momma, the first to make my heart explode with love and now he's my first grader.
